Editor's Note The full name of the company/website starting with the word "Real..." discussed in this input was ommited both in the title as well as in the copy below, because we try avoiding to mention names of companies/websites in regard to negative comments although the claims against them might well be true and valid.
However, there are some very specific information in the comment below, so you can do a simple search online and probably find the data entry web site in question.
As always, it is suggested that people are aware of claims like this and be very cautious before joining any online job websites and services similar to that online data-entry site..
I was scammed by a data entry online company.
They looked so genuine and in fact said that one of the reasons for them to offer data entry jobs was because they were aware of the huge number of scammers online.
They even offered a FREE trial period of 7 days to check out web sites for grammar and spelling mistakes.
There were 2 types of jobs; part-time for 19.95 where you were sent one web site a day for checking and full time for 49.95 with 3 web sites a day and the promise of $10 per web site.
I joined the part-time job after paying 19.95 through Paypal; the work was OK and they sent the work regularly.
I was hooked and wanted to earn more. I asked them whether I could pay the balance and be upgraded to full time; but they said I had to pay the full amount of 49.95.
This is where I should have been warned. But no, the fool I am with glorious images of $1000 a month, I paid that too.
Checking the web sites was not an easy job. Some of them were so long winding and boring; however, I kept at it, sometimes till late night and submitted the work daily, they acknowledged receipt of work by e-mail.
After one month, when I could request for payment, I sent them a mail and back came the reply that it would take 2-4 weeks to check my work after which payment would be considered.
There was no talk of checking the work when I registered. Although I was a bit skepticle, I kept on checking the web sites and submitting them; 3 per day.
At the end of the 2nd month and 200 assignments, I requested both payments again. No reply. I sent many more mails and after I threatened to report them. I received a reply saying that my work was not up to standard and as such, they couldn't pay me.
I was devasted and complained to PAYPAL. They however said since it was not an issue about goods or shipping, they could not do anything.
Then I made a request to forget my hard earned $2000, but at least to refund my $70 registration fee. Complete silence since then.
They must be laughing at us poor dumb idiots. I have seen many such complaints about Real..entry...Full name ommited - EDITOR and each and everyone of them have been duped in the same manner.
Don't you think its high time someone in authority did something about this, cheating, lying, fake company which is fattening themselves on the hard earned labor of gullible, unsuspecting people.
Anyone out there, reading this, carry out investigations and please stop these people from going any further with their fraud.
