"Alphabetic Rain" typing game is a simple free key boarding game, much like many other typing games for beginners. It has 4 levels, plus an additional level named "Faster," which really is a big challange, I guess, to the point of impossible, unless, perhaps for a super-super top-performing touch typist. Frankly, I can type quite fast, yet couldn't even start to compete with that "raining" letters and numerals at that level. This online typing game can help you improve on both letters and numeric keys, by typing the single letters and numerals that are "rainning" down. It's a shame, I have to confess: after so many years of speed typing, I still have to look a bit on the keyboard when it comes to type numeric keys. Well, I should have studied the free numeric key typing lesson (go here to learn to type free the numeric keys and here fore a beginner typing lesson on the Numeric Key Pad) and practiced a little more. You have to type whole words that disappear shortly, and you get a score according to your typing performance. While practicing, it helps you sharpen your typing skills, with music playing in the background. You can pick a song of your choice. It's a very simple typing game and part of the "Power Typing" website that includes more than just typing games only; it presents information about typing, a typing tutorial for beginners to learn to type on US Standard Qwerty keyboard and the Dvorak keyboard, as well as some good typing games.
