Lost Half a Million in Online Jobs? Did You? by: Anonymous
Hi, that online job rip-off story would be very unfortunate if it won't sound a bit like fiction....
First off, there seems to be a lack of important details shared in your online job story.
What kind of online-job was that, anyway? What had they promissed? What did they request? How much would you need to pay and what would be the return on investment?
Second, your message suggests that you were charged half a million dollars. Please..... were you?
Third, that was alledgedly your life savings. So, if you did have half a million in life savings, were you really in need of searching of an online job and risked that amount of money for an on line job?
I'm not here to discount your story. May be I did not understand your message correctly. Would you please explain? Thanks.
Actually, I should add, there *are* stories of people being scammed by online jobs, like promissed typist jobs etc..
Someone told me just recently he got an offer by E-mail that he could make $300 a day by placing ads. You know all that stuff we always see around..... That would probably make him $75.000 a year.
I told him there's no such a thing as easy money and that it's unlikely that it's true.
In my opinion, you get what you paid for. Usually you've got to work in order to make money, and you take out according to what you put in, and to me an online job, typing jobs online and all the rest is no different.
If it is indeed possible to make money online (which I know it is), then one likely would have to work for it.
