Yeh, may be. But there seem to be some more serious ones, that are already years out there and survived all the way long, so may be there is something to it, although I'd not take responsbility on such.
It's the Survey Scout online survey for money survice. You get paid for taking surveys from home. I don't think it's that simplistic, because in my mind, there's no get rich quick, like you said, that if it were, then everyone would do it; too good to be true. But I do believe you *are* getting surveys to fill out for money here and there, and that you do get paid. May be it involves a lot of work, or the pay per survey is not that much, or that you don't often get surveys to complete. But aparently, something *is* there in it. In fact, I've seen people getting like 5 dollars or so in the mail in exchange for having completed a survey at home. It was not from Survey Scout, I guess, but they too seem to be a legitimate paying-for-surveys company, or I doubt they'd last so long.
I've checked their site now, and they now offer a new benefit for their customers, that along with your membership for the paid surves to complete at home, you also get a list of 250+ data entry and transcription jobs etc. I've also mentioned this in a different input in this forum about taking surveys online from hoem. They did'nt use to offer this data entry and typing jobs before, as far as my memory serves me.
I wonder if anyone here has tried this online paid survey company and to what degree of success.
