Keep putting the word out there. Aren't there any laws/truth in advertising, etc., anymore????

Rebate Processing, Typing Jobs and Real Online Work From Home Jobs by: Anonymous
Hi Folks,
While we've been discussing here rebate processing jobs and I've posted myself some links in this thread to sites claiming to pay you for processing rebates at home, there was another frustrating message posted today in another submission in regard to an allegedly misleading and scaming "process rebates from home" site - read the story here.
I strongly suggest you to be very careful before you pull out your credit card to pay for sites promissing you to make a lot of money by doing easy things and to get rich overnight. Whether it's a typing job at home offer, a rebate-processing work site, or similar offers. Don't pay unless you're sure of what you're doing. Always do your research and make sure it's a legitimate offer.
While I've never done rebate processing at home jobs, I'm doing things every day to make money at home. I find that making money by answering surveys is NOT always a scam. Neither is getting paid for reading E-mails. In fact, I'm doing it almost daily. It's not much money, but in combination with doing surveys - for a cash payment, cash drawing or other rewards, as well as getting paid for completing offers (all these together are often offered by paid survey sites), one can make some little extra cash at home, and this IS easy and fun to do.
But I doubt it will make you rich, anyway.
In my experience, one of the best ways to really make money by doing what you love from home is the Site Sell system. And since it involves sharing your ideas passionately with others, your typing skills can come in very handy allowing you to type up your content pretty fast.
However, Site Sell is NOT "quick and easy," nor will you "get rich quickly overnight" from it. But it IS realistic and doable for the average person. It's completely true and legitimate and bears great potential. I'm now getting checks of hundreds of dollars every single month delivered to my mail box through it with doing very little work. It's quite different from all the scams around. It will not help you if still in the mindset of "making money on the Internet quickly and easily." You'll need to switch to "sharing my ideas passionately with other people and do what I really love." And you'll need to have the guts to pay $299.00 a year, which is about $29 a month. I don't care if that sounds too much, because I can now pay for that with less than I make back in just a single month with their proven and working system. I was also hesitant at first, but then I did it and I'll never regret it. I'm more than happy paying them every year again and again, because I'm making back much more, and that's more than just making a little money from home; it's like giving me a persent for life. Never was I that much happy with any other making money site around. Indeed, it's not like anything else, because it has zero hype to it.

Rebate Systems - A Rip Off by: Anonymous
The whole rebate "system" is a racket. who pays the rebate company?
If it is the seller then why can't they just give you the price?
I have had enough rejected to learn the lesson: it is a scam.

Another Scam! by: Anonymous
That is another scam, just like.... (edited)!
...(edited)gives you the same broken promises, just like that program.
Stay the hell away from these scammers. Those programs should be banned.
I too got scammed for a $192.

Another Rebat Proccessing Site - $15 Each by: Editor
I came across another website promising to pay you for completing rebates at home:
https://www.coldcashpartners.com/572-3-1-7.html
Seems like a membership to learn how to get paid for processing rebates and perhaps to get links to rebate processing companies.
It's similar to the other rebate job site mentioned here in another post, but I think that one asked some $200+ bucks to join. This one is $39 ("discount of $79").
I did not read the whole sales letter. They claim you can make $200-$1,000/day. (I don't believe that. Do you?)
They *guarantee* that you can "process simple customer rebates from home and earn $15 each." They claim it's "not your traditional data entry type job...You'd never make this kind of money with a typing job."
I don't believe in "easy, get rich quick" promises.
At the bottom of the page it says that the training website "has dozens of programs, including ours."
On the FAQ page they write that "your job is to process that rebate by verifying the information and submitting the rebate," and that it's no scam.
I saw no phone number listed. There was an E_mail address and physical address listed.
The only guarantee I saw there is that you can process rebates from home and make $15 each. In the "terms & conditions," I think they write that there's no refund.
If anyone has had any experience with this rebate processing website, could you please share with us?

Get Paid To Read E-mails At Home? by: Editor
Getting paid to read E-mails at home is something that is offered by some paid survey sites (here's one: http://tinyurl.com/3dcmq7).
But don't believe any of those paid survey sites offering to make a lot of money in a short time. It's unlikely. Beware of paid survey scams.
Filling out surveys, however, should be named by what it actually is. You may have to type in order to fill out surveys. Which, however, does not make it yet a "home typist job." So, make sure you're not fooled when offered a "typing at home job."

Rebate Proccessing Jobs At Home - Scam Or Not? by: Anonymous
Hi,
To the one who submitted the "comment scam" comment no Jan 25 -
I agree with you, but unsure on who you're referring to.
If to the original submission, you'll see that the *editor* has omitted the name of the rebate processing site.
Does anyone know by chance if that's legally OK for people to publicly name a site and accuse it of being a scam?
I agree with you generally that not everything out there is a scam even if it has to do with claims to make money online.
For example, when I see typing jobs at home ads, or data entry jobs at home offers, I'm skeptical, especially with claims of making a big amount money from home in a short period of time.
There are actually people making some money from, say, doing surveys at home, so not everything is a scam. But when promised to make big money quickly and easily just by filling out surveys, I suggest you don't believe that.

Money From Home Sites - Legitimate or Not by: Anonymous
Well, I tend to be skeptical too. However, sometimes I come across some making money from home sites. I take them all with a grain of salt, but are they all illgeitimate? I would'nt think so.
I saw a site lately promising to make money a t home (http://tinyurl.com/35qws5). There was a name listed, a photo and phone number. In addition, there was a bold guarantee: if you don't get the results that are promises, you'll get back "double the amount of your pay".
If anyone happens to check it out or do it, I'd very much like to hear about their experience with them.
