Sounds tragic. Unfortunate indeed.
Was the first business that you had a typing job business or the like? Or a different kind of business?
Also, you write that that partner was a "sleeping partner," yet he was managing your business in your absence. So, was he clever and just to lazy to work in your presence?
The shop that he sold - was that your joined business, or another shop that you were not partnering with?
A lot of questions, but intriguing...
Anyway, I wonder: how exactly are you planning to build your new typing jobs business? Will that be a firm accepting typing jobs to do for people?
